The Bigger Picture is Finally Starting to Come into Focus
The Bigger Picture Is Finally Starting to Come Into Focus
A funny thing happens when you keep showing up.
At first, you're just trying to solve the problem directly in front of you.
A few years ago, I was simply trying to figure out what came next.
I wasn't building a business.
I wasn't building a brand.
I wasn't building a movement.
I was trying to figure out my life.
One decision led to another.
I moved from Wisconsin to Alabama.
I started asking better questions.
I began using AI as a thought partner.
I wrote a book.
Then another.
Then another.
I started a community.
I met incredible people.
I said yes to opportunities that scared me.
And somewhere along the way, something interesting happened.
The dots started connecting.
For a long time, I thought Figureoutable Living was the destination.
Now I realize it may be the beginning.
Figureoutable Living helps adults create a life they love.
But what if we could help people develop those skills much earlier?
What if students had access to adaptive learning software that taught mindset, decision-making, problem-solving, resilience, goal setting, financial thinking, communication, and other life skills that are rarely taught in traditional classrooms?
That's where the idea for Level Up Labs comes in.
Level Up Labs is an adaptive learning platform designed to help students build the mindset and life skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex world. Instead of memorizing answers, students learn how to think, adapt, solve problems, and create opportunities.
And that's where Figureoutable Futures comes in.
Figureoutable Futures isn't the curriculum.
It isn't the software.
It's the vehicle that helps fund, support, and expand access to Level Up Labs.
The vision is simple:
Help adults create lives they love.
Help students learn how to build lives they love.
Create a funding engine that makes those opportunities available to more people.
Suddenly the books, the community, the speaking, the podcast, the writing, the software, and the mission all feel connected.
Not because I had a master plan.
Because I kept taking the next step.
That's the lesson I keep learning over and over again.
You do not need your entire life figured out before you begin.
You do not need a perfect roadmap.
You do not need certainty.
You need the next step.
Clarity often comes after action, not before it.
Looking back, every chapter of my life felt disconnected while I was living it.
Today I can see that each one was preparing me for the next.
Maybe that's true for you too.
Maybe the thing you're working on today isn't the final destination.
Maybe it's preparing you for something bigger than you can currently see.
Keep showing up.
Keep asking questions.
Keep taking the next step.
The bigger picture may already be forming.
You just can't see all of it yet.
